MESGlobalCoronavirusUpdate

Current as of 07/09/2020

Company Notes:

Essential Business Status – MES is an essential business as a Medical Device Manufacturer, and all shipping, logistics, sales, service, and support continue without interruption.

Vendors – MES maintains redundancy on all supplies and houses products in multiple warehouses around the world. There are currently no manufacturing or fulfillment delays in any MES global operation.

Local Vendors – Our local logistics vendors such as USPS, UPS, and FedEx are open for business, and we are in touch with them daily. You may experience an extra day or two in the shipping cycle as COVID-19 related items are prioritized, so we recommend placing orders slightly ahead of schedule to ensure uninterrupted fulfillment.

Social Distancing and Sanitization – MES is are observing social distancing and sanitization protocols throughout our organization based on Federal, State, and County guidelines. We are maintaining a limited staff in our Los Angeles office to adhere to these regulations, and most team members not directly involved with logistics are working remotely. If you have any trouble reaching us through our main telephone numbers (310-670-9066 or 866-557-9064), please email afterhours@mes-llc.com.

On-Site Service – With travel restrictions in place, on-site Preventative Maintenance is paused temporarily. MES offers remote “trade-out” PM service or Remote Verification while travel is limited. Please reach out to service@mes-llc.com for assistance or questions regarding our maintenance recommendations.

Installation and Training – Installation support, product training, and system demonstrations are available at any time via a free Zoom web conference or telephone session. Please reach out to service@mes-llc.com for a product demonstration or training assistance.

User Proficiency – For training, maintain proficiency in cases of limited use, and to confirm system operation, MES sells a Semi-Annual “mini” Validation Kit and a larger Manufactures Validation Kit. You can read more about both of these products HERE. Either option is a great way to keep users sharp and maintain a high level of proficiency.

Quality Control – If your SQA instrument is not used for extended periods (2 weeks+), it is recommended that the system be powered on and cleaned. It is also recommended that all three levels of QC be run periodically to confirm system performance.

We will all hold through this together, and MES is looking forward to a full-speed return! In the meantime, stay well and reach out to any member of our team with questions.
