about the SQA-Vision

Yes – the SQA-Vision is FDA Approved.

For most samples, the automated testing process takes only 75 seconds.

Yes, for most samples, the SQA-Vision will automatically report a percentage of normal forms (morphology) in the sample. You are also able to make a slide and use the SQA-Vision’s visualization system to perform full differential morphology, and classify specific defects in the sample.

The SQA-Vision comes standard with the capability to connect to most LIS/EMR systems.

We sell a Validation and Training Kit to help assist with certain aspects of the validation for the SQA-Vision, and the primary portion of validation we recommend is a 20 sample comparison between your SQA-Vision analyzer and your current method/backup method of analysis, which for most labs, is an existing microscope (and the manual semen analysis which is performed on it).

The cost of a capillary is $6 per test.

The primary consumables needed for use with the SQA-Vision are the testing capillaries themselves, QwikCheck QC beads, and SQA Cleaning Kits, but we have several other consumables available for all aspects of testing, such as pH and WBC assessment, kits for assisting sample liquefaction, sample dilution, and slides for morphology assessment if needed – all of these are sold under our QwikCheck line.
